Vectorial Elevations

Vectorial Elevation is an interactive artwork that allows the public to transform the sky over Vancouver. Using a three-dimensional interface, this web site lets you design huge light sculptures by directing 20 robotic searchlights located around English Bay. A web page is made for each participant with photos of their design from four cameras located around the city.

  1. That's really cool! Is this one of your photos of it? I remember hearing about this before I left and people getting all upset about 'light pollution' and stuff. Some people have no sense of fun.

  2. Yes, this is my photo. A lot of Olympic stuff people were complaining about seem to have gone away. Most everyone is caught up in the excitement and spectacle of it all.
